#1 By Sea Team Scavenger Hunt
Sanibel Sea School will design and help your party execute the best bonding event ever. Two captains will take two teams, up to six people on a team, on an island-wide, full-day scavenger hunt replete with goofy photo ops and embarrassing moments, all the while challenging your group’s social and critical thinking skills. Whether this is for a corporate retreat, or just about the best family gathering ever, you will be amazed at what challenges will lie ahead, and how much fun you will have meeting them! We request that you provide at least 60 days advance notice when scheduling, so we can plan the perfect experience for your group.
#2 A Sanibel Style Tropical Cocktail Cruise
Our custom open-air tiki trailer is sure to put you in the island spirit. Your group will make stops at some of Sanibel’s best restaurants, Doc Ford’s and Traders 2, for hors d’oeuvres and libations, then we will end the night with a celebratory dinner for 10, prepared by Doc Bruce and the Sanibel Sea School team at our Flagship Campus.
#3 Out of this World Planet Gazing With an Al Fresco Dinner Party
2018 is shaping up to be an amazing year for planet gazing, with Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars all putting on a show. Even better, Sanibel has a front row seat! Astronomer extraordinaire Robert Hunt will help you select an evening with excellent sky viewing potential – all you have to do is invite up to 10 guests, sit back, relax, and enjoy the views through his top of the line telescope. Sanibel Sea School will serve up delicious drinks and appetizers, provided by Traders.

#5 Sip and Savor with Tom Uhler
Tom Uhler is a professional wine educator who founded the first fine wine shop in our area, and he is ready to guide your group of up to 8 people on a journey of the senses. Enjoy tasting a selection of his favorite wines, each paired with complementary nibbles from Bailey’s Sanibel Catering Company. Whether you are new to wine or an experienced sipper, you are sure to have fun and learn a thing or two about this globally prized beverage.
#6 Doc Ford’s Truck - Donated by Randy Wayne White
Here’s your chance to own a piece of Sanibel Island history. Renowned Southwest Florida author Randy Wayne White has donated the sky blue and white 1972 GMC 1500 that inspired marine biologist Doc Ford’s truck in his novels. Picture yourself cruising around the islands in this vintage beauty with the wind in your hair, perhaps with a surfboard or two peeking out the back. Comes with a 350 Chevy Engine, just under 15,000 miles on the odometer, and the original “Doc Ford” vanity license plate. An islander’s dream!
